Terms & Condition

  1. Definition

    The following are the definitions used in the OK VISION Subscription Terms and Conditions.

    1. "Customer" is an individual who has an activated OK VISION Decoder and has a Package.
    2. "Activation" is an activity where OK VISION activates the customer's Decoder so that it can receive OK VISION broadcasts.
    3. "Free To View Channel" is a channel that customers will continue to be able to enjoy from the moment of activation based on OK VISION's policy.
    4. "Termination of Shows" is an activity where OK VISION decides to terminate OK VISION shows received by customers.
    5. "Decoder" is a tool for receiving OK VISION broadcasts via satellite which is equipped with a CAS Number and STB Number.
    6. "Installation Address" is the address where the Decoder is installed.
    7. "Dealer" or technician is a place where customers can buy decoder and satellite dishes.
    8. "Package" is a paid broadcast package selected by the customer.
    9. "CAS Number" is the Decoder Identity Number used to access OK VISION broadcasts.
    10. "Parabole" is a dish antenna, pole and leg as well as an LNB which functions to capture and transmit signals from the satellite to the decoder.
    11. "LNB" is Low Noise Block which functions to capture signals from the dish antenna to amplify and lower the frequency and then channel it to the decoder.
    12. "EPG (Electronic Program Guide)" is a display of television channel program schedules on OK VISION for today and next.
  2. Show Access
    1. OK VISION will activate the Decoder after OK VISION receives customer data via the activation service application prepared by OK VISION.
    2. Customers will get free viewing access for several Free To View channels based on OK VISION’s policy.
    3. Providing viewing bonuses and promotional programs is entirely based on OK VISION's policy.
    4. OK VISION may at any time change the content of channels or the content of broadcast packages, or prices, based OK VISION's policies and rules with prior notice.
    5. OK VISION has no liability to the Customer for any kind of changes made as stated in point 2.4.
    6. OKVISION can be watched through the Vision+ application using maximum of 2 devices (excluding TV3, 8TV, TV9 channels)
  3. Subscription Fees
    1. Unless otherwise specified, Customers must pay a subscription fee to OK VISION, according to the type of Package taken by the customer.
    2. Payment of subscription fees uses vouchers which can be obtained at places determined by OK VISION.
    3. OK VISION has the right to set prices in accordance with OKVISION policies, such as:
      1. Pricing based on region.
      2. Determining prices based on equipment completeness.
    4. Packages with active periods of 30 Days, as offered by OK VISION.
  4. Content and Technical Aspects of OK VISION Shows
    1. OK VISION may at any time change the content, quantity or material and impressions provided as well as all technical aspects used to transmit these broadcasts. Such changes will not affect subscription fees unless OK VISION states otherwise.
    2. OK VISION is not responsible for any disruptions that occur in the customer reception system,if such thing happens, customers can contact the place where they purchased or the dealer/technician who provides repair services.
  5. OK VISION Decoder
    1. To purchase OK VISION, you can contact the nearest dealer who provides OK VISION decoders and satellite parabole.
    2. Aside from going through dealers, customers can also place orders through digital channels, and which will later be followed up by OK VISION dealers.
    3. The decoder warranty is in accordance with the policy of each dealer starting from the date of activation of the STB device.
  6. Event Guide
    1. Customers can use Our Social Media, Website and EPG as a program schedule guide for all channels on OK VISION.
  7. Limitations on Use of OK VISION
    1. Customers are prohibited from:
      1. Charging other people to enjoy OK VISION shows.
      2. Provide or rebroadcast in any way to other parties.
      3. Plagiarize and/or duplicate in any form all OK VISION broadcasts.
      4. Using any form of display (logo, trade mark) for personal interests or any other party.
      5. Use OK VISION services with any other party to enjoy OK VISION outside the territory of Malaysia.
      6. Providing services to hotels or other commercial places without OK VISION's permission.
    2. Customers are not permitted to distribute or expand OK VISION shows themselves.
  8. Customer Obligations
    1. Provide and notify OK VISION if there is a change in customer data (name, address, telephone number and other data).
    2. Notify OK VISION if a transfer occurs to another party.
    3. For installation, repair and warranty for the set-top box, the customer could contact the dealer where the customer first purchased the set-top box.
    4. Customers agree that OK VISION can use data that customers provide voluntarily when registering to subscribe to OK VISION services including personal data including, among others, name, residential adress, e-mail, telephone number, location coordinates, identity card number to be stored, accessed, managed and processed also by OK VISION Affiliates.
  9. Punishment/Violation
    1. OK VISION has the right to terminate any Broadcast Packages if misuse of the broadcast card occurs.
    2. If a violation occurs in accordance with point 7.1. letters a) to f) and 7.2. above, the customer will be subject to a fine of RM 15.000.
    3. If a customer violates OK VISION regulations, OK VISION or the authorities have the right to terminate broadcasts at the customer's home.
    4. From time to time OK VISION may carry out inspections or examinations of the Decoder at the customer's address.
    5. OK VISION has the right to temporarily disconnect broadcasts due to violations of points 9.1 and 9.2, to reactivate customers must confirm with OK VISION.
  10. OK VISION Termination of Service
    1. OK VISION will disconnect the Package if:
      1. The customer does not top up the voucher and activate the OK VISION Package in accordance with the provisions in the OK VISION.
      2. OK VISION senses that the service user has violated the OK VISION Subscription Terms and Conditions.
      3. The decoder is lost or stolen.
    2. OK VISION will reactivate Broadcast Packages that have been turned off if the above matters have been resolved.
    3. Customers do not receive a replacement or refund as long as the service is stopped due to customer error or request.
    4. OK VISION cannot refund Package fees that have been paid by the customer if there is a termination due to the customer's fault or at the customer's request before the subscription is due.
  11. General

    This provision and its terms constitute an agreement between the customer and OK VISION, where the customer is prohibited from transferring his rights under this agreement. This agreement also applies to the OK VISION Decoder and the channels and programs included within.

  12. Amendment Terms

    These Subscription Terms and Conditions may be amended by us at any time from time to time. Any amendments to the Subscription Terms and Conditions will be published on the OK VISION website or in such other manner as we deem appropriate. Your continued use of OK VISION products and/or services will be deemed to be your agreement and bindingness to the amendments of the Subscription Terms and Conditions.

  13. Force Majeure

    OK VISION is exempt from all claims if there is damage to equipment or satellite support systems and/or satellites and others which are beyond its ability to prevent and overcome, so that broadcasts cannot be enjoyed in part/entirely, temporarily or permanently by Customers, including but not limited to regulations of government, natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, wars, riots.

  14. Dispute Resolution

    These Subscription Terms and Conditions are governed by Malaysian law. Any and all disputes arising directly or indirectly from these Subscription Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through the Malaysian Courts.
